Heena Singhal is a novelist, children’s author, illustrator, and mixed-media artist based in New Delhi. A Chartered Accountant by training, she took an unexpected turn toward art and literature, proving that it’s never too late to begin again.
She is the author of the historical novel Songs of the Reed and the literary novel Marigold, and has written and illustrated several books for children. Her work explores memory, grief, identity, motherhood, and the ways our past continues to shape who we become.
Beyond writing and painting, Heena is a soft skills trainer and speaker who enjoys engaging with readers and students through conversations about creativity, storytelling, and the courage to reinvent oneself. When she isn’t writing or painting, you’ll most likely find her in the kitchen, where she believes good food and good stories are made with the same ingredients—patience, curiosity, and love.
